In Loving Memory of Anthony Trani
Beloved husband, devoted father, adoring grandfather, and cherished friend
Anthony Trani, beloved husband of Cecilia (née Conenna), passed away surrounded by the love of his family. He was the proud and devoted father of David (Jazmin) Trani and Marc Trani, and the adoring grandfather of Christian and Alessandra. Anthony is also survived by his loving siblings Louis and Joanna Trani, and will be forever remembered as a treasured uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Anthony shared a uniquely close bond with his Aunt Anna. Born just years apart, the two grew up more like siblings than aunt and nephew, forming a connection that lasted a lifetime.
A dedicated special education teacher with the New York City Department of Education, Anthony touched countless lives. He devoted his career to helping students grow, learn, and discover their strengths—leaving a lasting impact on the many young people he guided.
Known for his joyful spirit, Anthony never missed a celebration and was often the light of the party. His hobbies included collecting stamps, books, and photographs, each item cherished for the memories it represented. He held a deep affection for Ischia, Italy, where he spent many joyful childhood summers that remained close to his heart.
In his early years as a father, Anthony worked a second job as a waiter at the famed Marco Polo Restaurant in Carroll Gardens, a testament to his love for his family and his unwavering dedication to providing for them.
Anthony will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His warmth, kindness, and radiant presence will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
May his memory be a blessing and a source of comfort to all who mourn his loss.
