Barbara Estelle Sunshine

Barbara, beloved wife of the late Martin. She was the devoted mother of Richard, and mother-in-law to the late Dehlia Sunshine. Barbara was a proud and loving grandmother to Lauren Sunshine and her husband Robert George, as well as Randi Lynn Sunshine Cortese and her husband Anthony Cortese. She was also a cherished great-grandmother to Logan Corter, Dustin George, and Taiga Lilly Sunshine Cortese.

Barbara's family also extended to numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all of whom she adored as a great-aunt and great-great-aunt.

Throughout her life, Barbara lived in Brooklyn, NY, Monroe, NY, Boca Raton, FL, and Lakewood, NJ. She dedicated many years of service as a school secretary, working for the NYC Board of Education and the Monroe Woodbury School System, from which she eventually retired.

Barbara's kindness, strength, and love for her family will forever be remembered. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, devotion, and countless memories that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.

A graveside service will be held at Beth Moses Cemetery, located at 1500 Wellwood Ave, West Babylon, NY, 11704, United States. The service is scheduled for February 20, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
