Candida Mignone was born in Naples, Italy in town of SanAngelo Dei Lombardi on May 9, 1924. She married Angelo J. Mignone on April 18, 1948. Lived on 2nd Street in Brooklyn with her husband and children, Anthony & Thomas, till 1962 then moved to Ave. X in Gravesend, Brooklyn. Angelo passed away in 2007 at age 85, and reached their 59th Anniversary. Candida has been a resident of Carmel Richmond Nursing Home for almost 5 years and passed away there on Thursday, April 2nd. She was 95 years old. She is survived by her two sons, Anthony & Thomas and their wives, Lorraine & Jo-Anne. Five grandchildren, Kara, Anthony Jr. (Wife Lexi), Christine (Husband Richie), Paul and Alexa with baby on way (Husband Joey), and two great-grandchildren, Marcello and Alessio. She will be missed.
