Was this my dear friend who had a rent controlled apartment in NY  for years and never used a cell phone or computer? The last time I got to NYC for a wedding was 9 years ago and I was so happy to spend time with her. Shortly after she did not pick up her home phone because she was having problems with the home phone. She had a relative in Florida but she never gave me her information.
I called from Florida, the police department, and the next day her phone was turned off.
I hope she was not alone when she passed. She was full of energy always using the bus or train to go to events. She studied ballet, was an artist at one time, and had an excellent education.

Deborah was a member of the High Holiday Committee for many
years.  We will miss her spirit and energy and will always remember
her with great fondness.

Debbie was a long-time supporter, committee member and devotee of the High Holiday Services Committee.  We enjoyed our conversations together at our meetings.  She served both as an usher and door-greeter at services for many years. We are saddened by her death but will remember her fondly always.

I am very sad to hear of Deborah’s passing.  I was in a group with her that planned high holiday services for students for 25 years, starting right after I graduated law school. Deborah always had a mischievous twinkle in her eye and a wonderful sense of humor. I looked forward to seeing her at every planning meeting and during the holidays each year, it was a constant in my life. I will miss her. Condolences to her family,  Our group tried to look out for her in the last couple years but were not able to track her down during the pandemic. I’m sorry we did not learn in time to say goodbye to her and give our respects at her funeral. Her irreverent and positive spirit will live on in each of us.

Sending my deepest sympathy to Deborah's  family. Deborah had been a great advocate of the art of Dance in all is forms.
She used to go nonstop to events trudging through snow and rain if needed.  As a friend she had great advice and always was interested in what was going on around her.  I will keep the memory of her
infectious laughter and beautiful eyes that enjoyed the world  during her busy years.   I reached out to her by phone when we could find her.

Wanted to extend my deepest condolences for Deborah. I was her Dietitian at Four Seasons Nursing and was able to really get to know her. She was an extremely kind woman who's smile really lit up my day. My favorite memory of Deborah was when she sang happy birthday to me and when I was able to read her letters that were sent for her to the facility.  She will forever remain in my heart and will be very missed her. BDH.
