Diane Spinelli

It is with a heavy and broken heart that I share the devastating news of the passing of my most beloved mother, Diane Spinelli. Her untimely departure is not only a deep loss for myself, her siblings, her loving extended family and friends, but to the world. For those who knew my mother there is no doubt that you were struck by her warmth and huge capacity to love. From the time I was a child, my mother taught me that the purpose in life is to give and receive love and to leave the world a better place than we find it. This is the tenet she lived by and she made such a profound difference in the many lives she touched. I would not be who I am today without her. Diane Fischer Fenster Spinelli was a true inspiration, a powerhouse, and an angel on Earth. She will be missed dearly, but her legacy of love, compassion, joy, acceptance, peace, and gratitude will live on through all of the lives she touched. Please keep her and our family in your thoughts and prayers. Funeral and Shiva arrangements to follow.

The family of Diane Spinelli invites all who wish to pay their last respects to this amazing women to any/all of the following:

Funeral: To be held in Midwood, Brooklyn where Diane grew up and spent most of her life before moving to Florida.

Funeral Service: To be held Thursday, April 3rd, 12pm sharp at IJ Morris/ Parkside Funeral Chapel located at 1700 Coney Island Avenue (between Avenues M&N) Brooklyn, NY 11230.

Interment & Graveside Service: The funeral services will be followed by interment and a short graveside service at Beth David Cemetery at approximately 1:30pm located at 300 Elmont Road, Elmont, NY 11003, where Diane will be laid to rest near her beloved son, Russell Fenster.

Shiva & Family Visitation: The family will be sitting Shiva and receiving visitors as follows:

Thursday, April 3rd (Immediately following the Cemetery) - Approximately 5pm - 9pm.

Friday, April 4th - 12pm - Sundown.

Saturday, April 5th - 12pm - 9pm.

Sunday, April 6th - 12pm - 6pm.

Memorial Service: Diane Spinelli's Residence at Century Village located at 1028 Newport H, Deerfield Beach, Fl 33442.

Friday, April 11th - 4:30pm - 8:30pm with a short Kaddish service at approximately at 5pm.

In Lieu of Flowers: In Judaism we send food to the Shiva home or give tzedakah (charitable donations). So, if in your heart you're inclined to do so, in lieu of flowers, the family requests:
