Diane Winn

Diane Levon Winn was born August 7th, 1952. She departed this life on Saturday August 24th, 2024, in Brooklyn NY. Diane was born the first of 2 children to Pearl Winn and James Winn in Baltimore MD. Diane received her early childhood education at P.S. 27. Graduated Prospect Height HS and attended some college. Diane held a managerial position with the city of New York. Diane personified the energy present in the room. She loved a good laugh. She was diligent and family oriented. Diane had a lot of interests in life, including watching Karate movies, playing cards well, especially spades and bid whist. She was an explorer of cuisine and theater enthusiast. She would have loved to see “The Wiz” on Broadway and visiting California were two of her dreams. Her hobbies included doll collecting and Fashion; she had a great sense of versatility. Diane’s love for her mother was impeccable, they were very close knit, it was always Pearl and Diane; you couldn’t hear about one without hearing about the other. Her love was genuine and unwavering for her son Desmond. Diane was equally devoted to her cats and dog, who brought her much delight and pride. Diane’s presence will be missed in this life, but she will be rejoicing in the next life. Diane leaves to cherish her memories, her mother Pearl Winn, her son Desmond Winn, niece Latoia Winn, Bronx NY, nephew D’artagnan Winn of Virginia and many other relatives and closest and dearest friends.
