Domenico Del Ponte

Proprietor and Baker at T&D Bakery for over 30 years, he developed strong ties with the other Sheepshead Bay “Mom and Pop” shops, like his own.

He loved his wife, the coal fired brick oven, a delicious plate of pasta, laughing, opera music and was always content with less than more.

He leaves behind, his loving wife, Tina Del Ponte, four children, Josephine (Vincenzo) Dato, Angelo (Michelle) Del Ponte, Linda (Alexandro) Berrios, Tina (Richard Coleman) Del Ponte and four grand children. He also leaves behind two sisters, four brothers, and his beloved dog, Louie.

A visitation for Domenico will be held Monday, April 11, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Cusimano & Russo Funeral Home, 2005 West 6th St, Brooklyn, NY 11223. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, April 12, 2022 from 10:15 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Edmund Roman Catholic Church, 1902 Avenue T, Brooklyn, NY 11229. Cremation to follow at Greenwood Crematory, 500 25 Street, Brooklyn, NY 11232.
