I knew Lila going back to Poland when she showed up to OUR school. The school of us, Polish Jews and the new comers, the Jewish emigrants from Russia. 
I don’t remember exactly which grade she joined us.  But I do remember her beautiful, little shy smile on her face.  Her “mienki znak” in her voice. Her being “little farblondziet” at first and how gradually she became comfortable with her new home! 
I also remember the famous get together in her house and looking forward to “chlebny kwas”.  Lila’s hospitality made us all , classmates, always have a great time. 
Lila was a “good doer”.  Always concerned about others.  She brought to our lives feelings of love and kindness and that is going to be her unforgettable legacy.
Lila, we will miss you but you will continue to live in our memories ❤️

Me alegra muchísimo su graduación le recuerdo en la ciudad chile en congreso la conocí junto con su esposo el señor doguin. En el año 2000 con motivo del cumpleañero de Micael de  Negación.

Lila was part of our journey through life starting with the 6th grade in Jewish school in Wroclaw, Poland through high school. 
We reconnected after immigrating to New York in 1970 and remained friends until now.
Over the years we went on trips together, enjoyed lively conversations, often disagreeing on many topics. On one of our trips we set a record of talking from breakfast until we were asked to leave so a table could be prepared for lunch. 
Lila's passing on will create a great void in Abram and my life.

Like a good marriage where your disagreements lead to greater understanding and greater love, Lila and I shared a friendship for over 50 years. We were young parents together, sharing a spiritual quest, camping with the kids, watching llana flirting with my son Marc, and learning where the search for truth could lead. Her thoughtful contributions to an issue were always focused and forthright. In groups where we studied spiritual issues she was always certain she was right. Her words: "NO Bobbie, you are wrong!" followed me home after many meetings. It didn't matter. Behind her sharp edge, Lila had a heart of gold and was always there when needed. I am devastated by the loss of her personal presence, but look forward to seeing her when I join her, Steve and Avi in the next adventure on this eternal journey we've begun. I send heartfelt condolences to Lisa, Ilana and Lila's adored grandchildren and extended family. We will all miss her terribly.

My sincere condolences to Lila’s family. I will miss my friend and neighbor, Lila. We became friends a few years ago and have been involved in activities that enhanced and encouraged our friendship and friendships with others.
