Born and raised in Brooklyn, Lucille was the fifth daughter of the late Charles and Tersilla (nee Carducci) Troise. The Troise family was a close knit one, and the ten Troise siblings enjoyed all the simple pleasures Brooklyn had to offer as they grew into adulthood. For a time, Lucille worked as a bookkeeper for Wally Frank, Ltd, a storied tobacco company, before meeting Donald J. Bisking, who she would marry on April 23, 1960 in a beautiful ceremony at St. Catharine of Alexandria’s RC Church, in Borough Park. Three children followed:, Donald John Jr., Dolores, and Roseann, and Lucille reveled in her role as a mother and homemaker.
Lucille’s life was not an easy one. She was predeceased by her son Donald John, and daughter Dolores Jo. Yet, she never lost her faith, and remained the heart of her large, and loving, family. In 1999, her daughter Roseann married Rusi Bajue, and two years later her beloved grandson Brandon was born. Lucilles’s only grandchild brought her untold joy, and she adored and cherished him every day of her life.
Lucille died peacefully on December 9, 2020 with her daughter and son-in-law by her side. In addition to Roseann, Rusi, and Brandon, she is survived by her sister Dolores Nardo, her brother Noel Troise and his wife Kathy. She was predeceased by her husband Donald, her sisters, Rose, Victoria, Joanne, and Antoinette, and her brothers Vincent, Mario, Patrick, and brother-in-law Louis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and nephews, all of whom loved her dearly.
She is now reunited in heaven with her children Donald John and Dolores Jo, and her husband Donald Sr.
