He was a graduate of Adelphi Academy in Bay Ridge, and St. Francis College in Brooklyn Heights. He was a parishioner at St. Saviour’s Church in Park Slope. Ray worked as a food salesmen for many years, including the last 5 years at Victory Foodservice in the Bronx. He loved his job and his customers, and they felt the same in return.
Ray was an avid sports fan. He cheered for the Yankees in the spring and summer, and the Giants in the fall and winter. He was fortunate enough to see them play many times during visits to Britain, and loved every moment of it.
The most important part of Ray’s life, was his family. He was the greatest father to Paul, for whom he cared for and loved with everything he had. They enjoyed this past Father’s Day looking at old pictures and thinking about all the wonderful memories they made together. Other family members Ray leaves behind include his brothers Jack and Ward, sisters in law, Marie, Lori and Katy, as well nephews, Bob, Brad and Brandon, nieces, Cali, Caitlin and Gianna, and great niece, Harper. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Audrey, and his brother, Bob. Ray also leaves behind many cousins and friends.
