Dr. John E. Elerbe, Jr was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He started writing when he was in high school and had no idea that anyone would ever see or enjoy his work.
He self-published his first book, (In and Out of the Big Dusty) in 1974. He published a CD entitled (Flowers of Love) in 2000 and his current book (Sitting on the Front Row), in 2012, Available at Amazon.com.
His work has hung as mixed-media art in the Camden County Cultural and Heritage Society, Burlington County Library, Union Station, Washington, D.C., and in the Cooper Library located in Clermont, Florida. His work is currently hanging in the African-American Museum in Boise, Idaho.
John holds a D.D., he is Co-Founder of Breath of Life of Central Florida, author, performing artist, wordsmith, husband, father, grandfather, Certified Faith Based Counselor, Drug and Alcohol Counselor, and a servant of the Lord.
