Deepest sympathy to the family.  We were very close and she will be dearly missed.  I have many wonderful memories of all the great times we spent together.

Dear Uncle Al, Marguerite, Peter, Sonia, Thalia and Andreas:
Heartfelt condolences to each of you. 
Aunt Agnes will be fondly remembered for her generous and caring disposition, her big smile that lit up a room, and her quick sense of humor. 
As kids, her welcoming greeting always included a stick of Wrigley’s gum!! 
I will hold dear the memories of Aunt Agnes and my mother, Pauline, and the laughter they shared.  I never knew what their conversations were, but they definitely knew how to make each other laugh.   All you could hear is their laughter filling the whole house.  It made you want to laugh out loud as well! 
God bless Aunt Agnes’ beautiful spirit. 
May her love for you and all your treasured memories bring you much comfort, joy and peace in the days to come.

Uncle Al, Margaret, Peter and family - we were so saddened to hear of Aunt Agnes’ passing:(  She never missed calling for my birthday as well as Christmas. I always looked at Aunt Agnes as « You can take the girl out of Cape Breton, but you can’t take Cape Breton out of the girl. » She was a big part of « who we are. » May she rest in peace now. Sending hugs and prayers.

My condolences on your profound loss Uncle Al, Margaret, Peter, Sonia, Thalia and Andreas. She was  "Agnes a Ned a Zephyr," descendant of the Boudreaus, of fabled "ouiseau" stock,  hailing from  Acadian, Cape Breton, and she always embodied the animated resilience and the unpretentious warmth of her lineage. I grew up with many earlier stories of Aunt Agnes' generosity and vivacity.  She was  a very present aunt, caregiver, and friend to my mother, Janet, even when just a youth herself, and she has continued throughout my mother's life to be deeply cherished by her.   Aunt Agnes' laughter still echoes within, her joy and zeal endearing though I saw her seldom.  In my mind's eye, I see her and uncle Al gliding gracefully on the dance floor in their 70s at our wedding, hear her laughing with my mother, her loving niece, Janet. I  can picture Aunt Agnes, my mother and my aunt, Pauline, sitting around a table, libations in hand, laughter filling the house. Her voice echoes in my mother's voice, in my Aunt Judy's voice,  in the voices of her many grand-nieces, as voices often do in families.  Though she is absent now, memories of her will continue on for she has left a legacy of joy and love.  And those who live on in our memories are never truly gone. Holding you all in my heart.
