Alain Rinfret

C’est avec une immense tristesse que nous vous faisons part du décès de monsieur Alain Rinfret, survenu le 3 juillet 2026, à l’âge de 82 ans. Alain laisse dans le deuil son épouse Maria, ses deux filles Christina (Yvon), Carolina (Joey), ses trois petits-enfants Catherine (Jack), Nikolas et Lucca, sa sœur Lise (Jonh) ainsi que plusieurs autres parents et amis. Tout au long de sa vie, Alain a su marquer ceux qui l’ont connu par la chaleur de son bon cœur et une générosité sans bornes. Il a été un mari, père et grand-père dévoué et un membre fondateur et actif de la communauté croate de Montréal. Photographe professionnel, Alain faisait de la photographie bien plus qu'un métier : c'était sa véritable passion.

La famille recevra les condoléances le jeudi 16 juillet 2026 de 17h à 21h à La Maison Darche, 7679, boulevard Taschereau, Brossard (Québec) J4Y 1A2. Les funérailles auront lieu le vendredi 17 juillet 2026 à 10h30 en l’église Saint-Hubert (5310 Chemin de Chambly, St-Hubert Quebec J3Y 3N7) suivi de l’inhumation au cimetière Saint-Hubert adjacent. It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Alain Rinfret on July 3, 2026, at the age of 82. Alain leaves behind to mourn his beloved wife Maria, his two daughters Christina (Yvon) and Carolina (Joey), his three grandchildren Catherine (Jack), Nikolas, and Lucca, his sister Lise (John), as well as many other relatives and friends. Throughout his life, Alain touched the lives of those who knew him with the warmth of his kind heart and boundless generosity. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, as well as a founding and active member of the Montreal’s Croatian community. A professional photographer, Alain made photography much more than just a career—it was his true passion.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, July 16, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at La Maison Darche, 7679 Taschereau boul., Brossard, Quebec J4Y 1A2. The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 17, at 10:30 a.m. at Saint-Hubert Church (5310 Chemin de Chambly, St-Hubert, Québec, J3Y 3N7) followed by the burial at the adjacent Saint-Hubert Cemetery.
