My deepest sympathy to Julie, Nikki, Christopher and families. Danny was such a gentleman. So family-minded and proud of his children. It was always a pleasure to run into Danny, whether it was at St. Lawrence School or at the skating rink. He always had a story to tell. I am certain you will all miss him immensely, but you will, no doubt, take great comfort in remembering the exceptional husband, father and grandfather who graced your lives. 

Today July 22nd at 4:15, I wish that I could be with you all to celebrate Danny.  Danny will always be one of those special brother-like individuals who will tease you no matter how old you are!    Additionally, Danny is one of the best story tellers, man-o-man he can spin a rug, especially when it comes to his beloved "HABS".     Julie, Christopher, Nikki, Gina, William, Diane and all my deepest sympathies for your loss.  It brings me comfort knowing that Danny is no longer in pain; he is free.

Comme ton départ m'a laissé bouleversée et sans mot. Plus d'une semaine s'est écoulée avant que je puisse écrire ces lignes. Tu as été le premier employé que j'ai recruté.  Tu es alors devenu et demeuré mon plus fidèle collaborateur pendant près de vingt ans. A tes côtés, je suis devenu un meilleur gestionnaire et une meilleur personne. Au delà de tes aptitudes professionnelles; tu étais investi à ton travail et à ton équipe,  ce sont tes qualités humaines dont on se souvient;  généreux , à l'écoute de tes collègues, agréable, serviable et oui ,protecteur. A tes cotés, toute l'équipe a grandi. Je garde en mémoire et dans mon cœur tous ces précieux souvenirs de ton passage important dans ma vie.
    Toutes mes condoléances à son épouse Julie, à ses enfants Christopher et Nikki, à ses petits-enfants et amis. Quiconque a côtoyé Daniel, sait comment vous étiez précieux  et au cœur de ses pensées.

Hey Dan,

To your family I offer my condolences, It must be extremely difficult loosing such a great person.

To you Dan, I will miss you with all my heart. We had a great time during all the years on those various committees that we worked on together. You made me laugh with your comments and jokes. May the sun always shine on your shoulders, where ever you are and, where ever you are going. Be in peace my friend

We are profoundly saddened for your monumental loss of a cherished, loving and dedicated husband, father and grandfather. Danny was a beloved man who was entirely devoted to his family, always his number one priority. He embodied the true meaning of what it is to be a man for others. We will always remember Danny for his warmth, kindness and wonderful sense humour. May all the cherished memories you shared with Danny help to soothe you throughout this time of great sorrow. Daniel était un très bon employé et collègue de travail.  Tout le monde aimait Daniel.  Je suis vraiment désolée qu'il n'ait pas eu le temps de profiter de la retraite avec les siens.  Mes sincères condoléances à toute la famille

Danny was a very competent and hardworking colleague. He was teck-savvy, well-read, and a marvelous raconteur who regaled us with his loving depictions of family life, of his barbecues and weekend cookouts, of his youthful escapades. The Larchers know how to throw a party! Good night Danny... you were a true gentleman.

I worked with Danny for many years at Bell. Although we were in different provinces we shared many laughs and had lots of chats. We lost a brilliant light today and my thoughts and prayers are with his family.

My condolences to the Larcher family on Dan's passing, I met Dan  when we were kids growing up in the east end of Montreal , I was the family's  newspaper delivery guy.   Danny was a kind ,helpful and respectful  person and he carried these traits thru his years as our paths  crossed during our working  careers and each time I   would walk away thinking that  the Dan I remembered growing  up stayed true to  his  character. I loved working with Daniel (Danny).  He was so friendly and kind to everyone we worked with at Bell in our Supply Chain family.   I remember laughing and enjoying talking with him frequently  … he was intelligent and contributed so much to make our work so much easier and valuable.  I am deeply sorry that Danny did not get the to enjoy a retirement that he deeply deserved!  I will always think highly of you my friend Danny! 

Our deepest sympathy to Danny's family. He left too soon but left so many happy memories for anyone who knew him. He loved to laugh and he loved to make people laugh. His gentle loving nature will be forever remembered. May you all find solace in knowing he is now resting in peace and that he will be keeping a watchful eye over all of you. 

Danny was truly a dear friend. In 2000 I flew to Montreal to talk him into becoming part of our MSO team. He was such a wonderful partner at work and was essential in moving the business forward! On a personal note we became good friends and he was so proud of his family and loved talking about them all. Danny was a very special person who tried to make me feel better when we discussed his diagnosis rather than me trying to make him feel better! That was just the kind of person he was. He will be dearly missed by everyone that knew him. My sincere condolences to his wife, kids and grandkids. You will never be forgotten my friend xo

Danny was truly a great guy, one of a kind. We became friends in 1995 while working in supply chain. He was always a proud family man and would share stories of his wife, children and grandchildren. In the good ole days we would laugh on the phone so much. We were both huge music fans so we always had lots to talk about. 
I am heartbroken as I write this note,  he will be forever missed but never forgotten 
 “Daniel my brother”  is what I used to call him.
