Born on January 7, 1934 to Ferdinand and Juliette (Marconi) Kiki lived his young life in ‘The Point’ where he met the love of his life Maureen. They married in October of 1957 and spent the next 63 years building a beautiful life together. Dominic is now reunited with his beloved wife, Maureen (née Duffy), who predeceased him as well as his sister Helen. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Dawn(Rob), Glenn(Sue), Cathy(Mike), and by his dear brother, Robert.
He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Kristy, Jeffrey (Val), Meghan (Mike), Kimberly (Kevin), Chelsea (Phil), Nicholas, Michael, and Kenedy, and a cherished “Buddy” to his 10 great-grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride.
Dominic lived a long and wonderful life. He worked hard to provide for his family and was known for his generosity, kindness, and unwavering love for those around him. He had a deep love of cooking—especially making his signature sauce, and pizzas—and found great joy in bringing people together around the table, where his stories were shared, laughter was abundant, and memories were made.
His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 26 from 10–12 p.m. at Darche Funeral Home, 7679 Taschereau Blvd, Brossard. A Funeral Mass will follow at 1:00 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Basilica, Montreal, with entombment at Côte-des-Neiges Cemetery.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff on the second floor at Chartwell Greenfield Park, as well as the team on 4 Nord at Charles-LeMoyne Hospital, for their compassion, care, and support especially in his final days.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Dominic’s memory.
“Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.
