My condolences to Judy and the rest of the family.

Unkie was an amazing person. He always made lots of time for us, whether taking us to a museum or going on a trip. He was kind and thoughtful, and I miss him already.

             The long conversations that took place on November 23rd.  and March 16th. every year between Ron and John will no doubt continue in Heaven.

To my uncle "Unkie", Judy and family,

Family and friends were very important to John and he made a point to visit and spend quality time with those he cared about. I was lucky enough to be his niece and benefit from his big heart. As kids, my sister and I always looked forward to Unkie’s visits as he continually found interesting excursions/experiences and unique gifts to share with us. He loved to include us in the many things he was in awe over, particularly natural wonders and important places and events. He also enjoyed reminiscing, sharing stories from his past. 

Unkie had the most amazing memory! I remember fondly the map he drew from memory in order for me to get to his and Judy’s home in Montreal. He added every street light, important landmark and the distance each turn would take. Needless to say, following Unkie’s map, I got to their house with no trouble at all. 

I will miss my favorite uncle’s generous heart and kind soul. I will also miss his quirky sense of humor.

My deepest condolences to Judy and family. I’m glad you have each other through such a difficult time. Sending love to you all.

John was a caring and gentle giant. I have fond memories of delivering his newspaper for many many years. He was a kind friend to our family and always very thoughtful. 

I remember his stories of riding his bike from Candiac to old Montreal and drinking 50s at the rest stops along the way. 

A true gentleman who will be missed.

We are very saddened to hear of John’s passing.  He was a kind soul.  I loved to see him riding his bicycle around Candiac in the summer and enjoying the winter on his cross country skis. 

He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.  May he rest in eternal peace.

Unkie was a great and fun uncle. He took my sister and I to many fun and educational places when we were kids which we enjoyed very much! When we were travelling he loved to look at maps and routes and could talk for hours about different ones!

I will miss him very much - and I know his big beautiful family will miss him too. My heart is with you all.

We are deeply saddened by John’s passing. He was a warm, kind, intelligent and endearing soul. We always enjoyed his passions and interests as well as his anecdotes and hearty laugh.

We wish Auntie Judy lots of courage and strength during this difficult time but we are comforted, as John must be, by the knowledge that she has such a  wonderful support system.

He will be dearly missed and we will cherish the times that we spent with him over the years. He will live on in our memories. May he rest in eternal peace, God Bless his soul🙏🏼
