August 8, 1937 – June 21, 2026
It is with deep sorrow and loving remembrance that we announce the passing of Pabilto "Pabling" Balintec, who peacefully entered eternal rest on June 21, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family at the Jewish General Hospital.
Born on August 8, 1937, Pabilto lived a life defined by love, devotion, strength, and generosity. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Marietta "Mayette" Balintec, with whom he shared 55 years of marriage. Together they built a life filled with dedication, sacrifice, laughter, and unwavering love.
He was a proud and devoted father to his two sons, Marlon and Marvin, and warmly welcomed his daughter-in-law, Michelle, into the family. One of Pablito's greatest joys was being a grandfather to Kendall and Jace, who brought immense happiness, laughter, and pride to his later years. He treasured every moment spent with them and will be remembered for the love and wisdom he shared.
Those fortunate enough to know Pabilto will remember him for his gentle heart, quiet wisdom, humility, and generosity. He possessed a strong work ethic, and a steadfast commitment to those he loved. Family was the center of his world, and he found his greatest fulfillment in caring for and providing for them. Whether through his words of encouragement, his sacrifices, his stories, or simply his comforting presence, he touched countless lives and left an enduring impact on all who knew him.
Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit lives on in the family he cherished and in the countless memories that will forever remain in their hearts.
As we mourn the loss of a remarkable husband, father, grandfather, and friend, we also celebrate a life beautifully lived and a man deeply loved. We are grateful for every moment, every lesson, and every memory he shared with us.
May he rest in eternal peace, reunited with loved ones who have gone before him, and forever embraced in the hearts of those who love him.
Forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
