Alfredo Cano Longoria

Alfredo was a wonderful husband who loved his wife dearly, good father, great grandfather who loved going for walks and working in the yard, enjoyed fishing with his family, loved to gamble and scratch lottery tickets. Always up to try new restaurants but loved to go eat at Emilia's, worked and retired from the state, had great work ethics and lived every day by his faith. He enjoyed eating at whataburger with his brother Pancho and friends, was a very kind hearted man who helped so many along his life and loved to go hear his son Freddy play music.

Alfredo is survived by his children Alfredo Longoria Jr., Diana Masso (Carlos Masso), Luis Jesus Longoria (Rose Longoria), George Longoria (Scott Real); his siblings Maria Paz Aguilar, Abel Longoria, Thomas Longoria, Roberto Longoria, Maria Gracia, Evangelina Davila and Juan Longoria; his grandchildren Amy D. Masso Garces (Jesus O. Garces), Joshua Flores, Doel A. Masso (Erica Masso), Hannah Marina Masso (Pattsy Masso), Luis G. Longoria, Diego A. Longoria;honorary granchildren Ricky Masso (Amanda Masso), Kennedy Benavidez, his great grandchildren Carlos Julian Garces (CJ), Doel Avery Masso and Mckenzie Masso.

Alfredo was preceded in death by his wife Marina Longoria†; father Thomas Longoria† and mother Micaela Cano†; his siblings Noe Longoria†, Tevaldo Longoria†, Frank (Pancho) Longoria† and Francisca Longoria†.

Alfredo Cano Longoria also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.

A visitation for Alfredo will be held Monday, November 6, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd., Brownsville, TX 78521. A mass will occur Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Saint Mary's Catholic Church, 1914 Barnard Rd., Brownsville, TX 78520. A burial will occur Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Rd., Brownsville, TX 78526.

Serving as pallbearers are Luis Jesus Longoria, George Longoria, Doel Alfredo Masso, Jesus O. Garces, Carlos Masso, Danny Gracia, Luis G. Longoria and Diego Longoria.
