Alicia Sierra Martinez, 83 of La Paz San Luis Potosi, passed away peacefully on April 24,2025 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness and strength. Born on December 9, 1941 she was known for her strong presence, she could light up a room and loved playing Loteria with friends and family.
Alicia is survived by her children, Javier Sierra, Guadalupe Almaraz, Maria Del Carmen Salinas, Esteban Sierra, Alicia Gonzales, and Michael Sierra. She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren, Ulysses, Quinton, Melanie, Roxy, Franky, Mario, Sebastian, Cris, AB, Sandra, Kamila, JoAnn, Jaime, Bella, Mikey, and Hannah; and her 12 great grandchildren.
Alicia was preceded in death by her beloved husband Severiano Sierra.
A Visitation for Alicia will be held Monday, April 28, 2025 from 2:00 PM to Tuesday, April 29 at 10:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521. A Rosary will occur Monday, April 28, 2025 at 7:00 PM. A chapel funeral service will occur Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at 10:00 AM with burial to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
