Neal relocated from Alabama to Brownsville to work for amfels as a welder and pipe fitter. He then went to work at the shrimp basin as a boat mechanic and welder up until he opened his own business for several years. He then went to trucking school and began truck driving until he retired. He liked the outdoors and sight seeing. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He loved and was loved by his beloved wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Theopolus Wiggins and Lula Francis Smith.
He is survived by wife Hermilda Wiggins, children; Alton N. Wiggins, Adam R. (Jessica) Wiggins, and Serena (Scott) Robinson.
He is also survived by his brothers, sisters and grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Alton N. Wiggins, Adam R. Wiggins, Armando Robles, Luis Robles III, Edward Robles, Arnoldo Robles and Fred Loya.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 13, 2022 from 1pm - 9pm with a prayer service at 7pm in Chapel of Peace. A chapel service will be Monday, February 14, 2022 at 12pm in Chapel of Peace followed by a burial at Buena Vista Burial Park.
