

Ana Karen was born in Tuxpam, Veracruz to Jose Antonio Pedrero and Maria Elena Pedrero. She grew up in Tuxpam, Veracruz but later moved to Matamoros, Tamaulipas and Brownsville, TX. She grew up to be a straight A student and a bright wild child. Ana Karen grew up as the protective older sister to brother Luis Pedrero and sister Jennifer Pedrero. She always made sure they were taken care of while filling their days with laughter and fun.
She is survived by her grandchild Evanora Lee Rodriguez, her children Josephine Nicole Pedrero, Kalebh Alfredo De la Garza, Deborah Danielle De la Garza, Ian Jesús Chapa, Erianna Marie Rodriguez, and Alison Elena Rodriguez. She is also survived by her siblings Luis Alfredo Pedrero, Jennifer Anahí Pedrero, Camila Ruth Pedrero, and her parents Jose Antonio Pedrero and Maria Elena Pedrero.
She was the life of the party, always making people laugh and feel welcome. Her love for the ocean was unmatched—she enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and swimming, and the beach was her happy place. Ana Karen was also the first in the Pedrero family to give the gift of grandchildren, and her children were always her top priority.
She touched the lives of many with her kindness, humor, and dedication to always accomplishing what she set herself to. She always wore her heart on her sleeve. Always willing to give a lending hand and help to those in need.
A memorial service will be held on May 22nd, 2025 at 1pm at Del Angel Funeral Home: 125 McDavitt Blvd Brownsville, TX. A Church service will be held the next day at Sendas De Vida: 3181 Ruben M Torres Sr Blvd Brownsville, TX. Followed immediately by the burial back at Del Angel Funeral Home.
Ana Karen Pedrero Perez will be greatly missed, as a grandmother, a mother, a daughter, a sister and a dear friend, and always be remembered in our hearts.
