Angelita enjoyed her career as an educator that spanned over 30 years. She always enjoyed running into former students or coworkers and reminiscing about the good old days. She was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church her entire life. She loved to travel and was able to go on several pilgrimages to Mexico and was fortunate to travel to Rome, Spain, Portugal, and the Holy Land. She never met a stranger, and her smile was contagious. She was always willing to help anyone in need, and I do mean anyone, many can attest to that kindness. She was our family “rock” and in her last few years, dementia may have taken her memory, but it never took her faith and spirit. We were blessed with an angel on earth who has now gone before us to her eternal resting place. She always made sure to remind us that is what we need to strive for; we are just passing through this life so we must showlove and compassion for all and that is what she modeled for us as part of the best gift she ever gave us in instilling our Catholic faith.
