

He was a very hard working man his entire life Whose priority was caring for his family. He was a devoted husband to Julia for over 50 years. He was a loving father to Tony Jr. (Raquel) Suarez and Veronica (SFC Juan) Olivarez. His grandchildren Miguel and Tony III, His “Bebo” were his greatest Joy in the World. He was smart, brave, honest and Kind and very set in his ways sometimes. He loved valued and talked about his friends all the time. He greatly enjoyed fixing automotive transmission the most and to our amazement, he could also fix just about everything else at Home when it broke. He was funny and could tell jokes in a unique way that made us laugh many times. He enjoyed listening to our laughter, Tejano music, Mariachis, Trios and Pedro Infante. He also loved his pets especially his African Grey Molly, who was the only one who could tell him “Controlate !” He worked for the City of Brownsville in both The City garage and Police Department from where he medically retired.
He is preceded in death by his parents Antonio Suarez and Maria De Jesus Mendoza. He is survived by his loving wife Julia, his daughter Veronica (Juan), his son Antonio Jr. (Raquel), his grandsons Miguel and Antonio lll, sister Evangelina; brothers, Rodolfo, Marcelino, Prisciliano and numerous nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers will be Antonio Suarez Jr, Miguel Angel, Antonio Suarez lll, SFC Juan Olivarez, Ruben Saldaña, and Saul Ibarra. Visitation will be Sunday November 15, 2020 from 1pm- 9pm with a Rosary at 7pm. A mass will be Monday November 16, 2020 at 10:00 am in Immaculate Conception Cathedral Catholic Church followed by a burial at Buena Vista Burial Park.
