Areopaja Maldonado

She is survived by her daughter Enedelia M. Ayala (Guadalupe F. Ayala), daughter Martha M. Rodriguez (Jose Luis Rodriguez), and son Juan Maldonado(Maria E.).

She was preceded in death by her husband Hilario Maldonado, daughter Maribel M. Garza, daughter Maria M. Guzman, and son Pablo Maldonado.

Pallbearers will include Guadalupe M. Ayala, Mark A. Ayala, Juan Carlos Rocha, Jose Angel Guzman, Jose Luis Rodriguez Jr., and Jose Luis Hernandez.

A visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, located at 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521, on December 3, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A prayer service will take place at the same venue in the Chapel Of Peace at 7:00 pm on December 3, 2025. Continued visitation is scheduled for December 4, 2025, at 8:30 am.

A chapel service will be conducted at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista in the Chapel Of Peace on December 4, 2025, at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Road, Brownsville, TX 78526, at 1:00 pm.
