Barbarita loved to garden, weed eat, color, make puzzles and definitely play bingo. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with the family. She was ''mima'' to all the grandchildren. ''My grandma, was the person that would always bring a smile to anybody's face even though she didn't say much. For me and my sister, she was and will always be the love of our lives, the one who raised us, our happiness, our joy and our laughter.'' Everyone has a story or memory that will be cherished by her loved ones. She will truly be missed by those who loved her.
Barbarita is survived by her son Robert (Maria) Castro; daughter Brenda (Gustavo) Mendez; daughter Laura Castro; daughter Susan Castro; and son David Castro.
Barbarita was preceded in death by her father Agustin Cisneros and mother Petra Cisneros; husband Jose Manuel Castro; sister Francisca Cisneros; brother Agustin Cisneros; sister Carmen Fernandez; sister Ana Garcia; brother Raul Cisneros and sister Maria Isabel Cisneros.
Barbarita Cisneros Castro also leaves behind her brothers, sisters, nephews and grandchildren Alexandria, Alexis, Trinity, Patrick, Allison, Isaac, Jose, Eli, Dylan, Mariah and Catalina to cherish her memory.
A visitation for Barbarita will be held Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Rose Lawn. A chapel service will occur Friday, November 8, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Rose Lawn followed by a burial at 1:00 pm at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers are Alexandria Castro, Alexis Castro, Patrick Mendez, Isaac Castillo, Jose Castillo, Trinity Mendez, Dylan Castillo and Eli Mendez.
Serving as honorary pallbearers are Allison Mendez, Mariah Mendez and Catalina Castro.
