Bertha Guadalupe Robles

Bertha Robles was born in San Fernando, Tamaulipas, Mexico on February 10, 1937 to Adolfo and Maria Guadalupe Ortiz Robles. She along with Antonio Herrera paved the way for the future generations by leading their children to the United States from Mexico. Bertha possessed an incredible strength with which she built a heart of unyielding love for God in each of her children. Nourishing the souls of her beloved family, she was selfless in giving to our comfort and our joy. Bertha’s proud smile and bright eyes lit up every time she received her children and grandchildren because each was a treasure she prayed for often. Her grace and poise assured us of our capacity for greatness because she was a spiritual being connected to God. She found happiness in the simplicity of life as she tended her garden, her pets, and every wild thing. She adorned our world with her beauty.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters, Pedro, Emilio, Isabel, Juan, Cesarea and Juana.

Bertha is survived by her loving sons and daughters, Adolfo (Sonia), Martha Guadalupe (Cesar) Gonzalez, Juan Antonio (Annie), Maria De Jesus (Jose Alfredo, Sr.) Jimenez ; brother and sister, Eulogio and Maria; grandchildren, Myra, Amanda, Alexander, Alessandra, Vanessa, Ashley, Ryan, Melissa, Jose Alfredo, Jr., Joshua and Jonathan; great grandchildren, Micah and Amaris.

Visitation will be held from 11 am to 9pm Friday, June 15, 2012 with the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.

Chapel Service will be held at 10am on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista with a committal service to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
