He is survived by his wife Lidia Vega; his daughters & sons Mary Vega, Jaime Vega (Jenny), Norma Urbano (Martin), Carlos Vega, Jr. (Angelica), Ericka Vega Tovar (Sugar Ray), Rosaura Davila, Alejandro Vega (Erica) and Gerardo Vega ;13 grandchildren ; his sisters Carolina Ruvalcaba, Carmen Portillo and Concepcion Vega; his brothers Guadalupe Vega & Miguel Angel Vega.
Visitation was held from 4pm to 9pm with a rosary at 7pm on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Funeraria Del Angel Funeral Home Chapel.
Chapel service will be held at 2pm on Monday, October 25, 2010 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
