Denise is survived by her spouse, Michael Day; her mother Gloria Garcia and her father Demetrio Garcia; her fur baby Mayra Kay, her fur baby Leo and her fur baby Stormi.

Denise was preceded in death by her mother in law Mayra Kay McLaughlin †; her sister Belinda Garcia Bomer †; her uncle Julio Garcia †.

A visitation for Denise will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM in Chapel of Angels at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521. A chapel service will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 10:00 AM in Chapel of Angels at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521. Followed by a burial at 11:00 AM at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.
