Eddie as he was known to family and friends was a very gentle soul with a big heart. He was always willing to help anyone in need in whichever way he could. He enjoyed life by making people laugh and always had a positive attitude. He worked as an educator for 40 years. Beginning as an elementary teacher and retiring as a counselor. His dedication to his work as a counselor had a huge positive impact on many many students. Foremost, he was a man of great faith which never wavered.
Eduardo is survived by his Siblings: Hilda N. Gonzalez (Oscar) and Javier F. Noriega (Paula); his nephews: Gerardo Noriega (Irene), Ismael Noriega and Miguel F. Gonzales (Ishita), his niece: Yvette Noriega and his great nephew: Ronaldo Morales.
Eduardo was preceded in death by his mother: Gloria Noriega †.
A visitation for Eduardo will be held Monday, February 3, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00PM in Chapel of Peace at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A chapel service will be held Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 2:00 PM in Chapel of Peace at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. Followed by a burial at 3:00 PM at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.
