Elma Martinez

Elma a beautiful lady who inspired her family and friends with her smile, love, encouragement and especially her bravery. When marrying her husband Hector; she not only became a wife, she became a mother instilling her love, compassion strength; values that all her adult children continue to hold dear and pass onto their children. She has been an inspiration to her family and friends and will continue to inspire with the love she has for us all.

Mrs. Martinez is preceded in death by her parents Plutarco Garza and Rene Garza.

Elma N. Martinez is survived by her loving husband Hector Martinez; her children, Nora (Manuel) Perez, Daniel Martinez, Melinda Tillison, Carlos Martinez, Mari( Octavio) Arias, Robert Martinez, Hector Martinez(Dr. Geraldine Mullane) and Monica Schlueter (Ron) ; her grandchildren, Lala Perez, Erin, Rebecca, Enrique, Brianna, Jeffrey, Savannah, Monica, Miranda, Melinda, Ali; great-grandchildren Brandon and Michael; her mother Estella; brothers, Donicio, Plutarco and Rudy Garza.

Visitation will be held today Thursday, July 4, 2013 from 12noon – 9pm with a Holy Rosary at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.

Funeral Mass will be held at Lord of the Divine Mercy on Friday, July 5, 2013 at 10 am, all services concluding after.

Serving as pallbearers will be Plutarco, Donicio,Rudy Garza, Robert, Carlos Martinez, Manuel Perez, Mathew and Joey Martinez. Honorary Pallbearers Hector, Daniel and Enrique Martinez, Jaime Salazar, Rick, Beto and Javier Villarreal.
