Elmer Russell

Mr. Russell was an Avid Cowboy Fan, enjoyed fishing, crabbing and dancing. He was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed spending time on the porch with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his son John Russell; parents, Carlota Haggstrom and Wallace E. Russell; brothers, Wallace Jr., William, Wallace G., Joe, Charles; 2 sisters, Ester Garcia, Hazel Villalon.

Mr. Russell is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Gloria Olvera Russell; 2 daughters, Elizabeth Perez, Yvette Russell Huerta; 3 sons, William(Bill) Russell, Mark Anthony Russell and David Russell; 1 sister, Mary M. Hernandez; grandchildren, Becky Lee Huerta, Ashley Ann Huerta, Alec Huerta, Damian Alexander Russell, Erica C. Perez, Lisa Michelle Perez, Richard D. Perez, Avigail K. Russell, Isabella C. Russell; 1 great grandson, Axel James Cruz.

Visitation will be held from 11am to 9pm on Tuesday January 10, 2012 with a holy rosary at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 10am on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 with a committal service to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.

Pallbearers serving will be; Mark A. Russell,David Russell, Richard D. Perez, Ruben Garcia, Michael Perez, Rogelio Hernandez.

Honorary Pallbearers, William (Bill) Russell and Alec J. Huerta, Damian A. Russell.
