Elva Vega Camero

Elva is survived by her daughters Tammy A. Villarreal, Barbara Willard, Brenda L. Casas (Vicente Casas III), Esmeralda C. Montiel (Benito Montiel), Rosie Camero Naranjo (Albert Naranjo Jr.), her step sons Robert Camero Jr. (Rachel) and Reynaldo Camero; her brothers Max Vega, Mauricio Vega Jr., Joe Vega, her sisters Helen Jackson and Emma Castiñeira; her stepdaughter Janie Camero, her grandchildren Benjamin, Michael Lee, Erin, Sarah, Derek, Lauren, Daniel, David and her close friend of family Hilda V. Rivera.

Elva was preceded in death by her husband Roberto G. Camero, her son in law Frank Villarreal, her father Mauricio Vega and her mother Maria De Jesus Arizpe, her brothers Lupe Lopez and Manuel Lopez, her sisters Anita Vega, Candy Rodriguez, Edna Martinez, Angel Aviña and Josie Repczynski, her stepdaughter Leticia Luna.

Elva Vega Camero also leaves behind 16 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.

A visitation for Elva will be held Sunday, August 14, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd., Brownsville, TX., 78521. A chapel service will occur Monday, August 15, 2022 at 10:00 AM followed by a burial at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd., Brownsville, TX., 78521.

Serving as pallbearers are Vicente Casas III, Albert Naranjo Jr., Daniel Rivera, David Rivera, Derek Casas and Michael Lee Villarreal.
