Elvira V. Villarreal is preceded in death by her parents, Nicolas Vallado and Elvira Lopez; her husband, Jose A. Villarreal Sr.; her son, Hector Villarreal; brothers, Nicolas Vallado, Antonio Vallado , and Ramon Vallado and sisters, Maria Elena Vallado and Emma Vallado.

Elvira V. Villarreal is survived by her son, Jose A. (Rosa Maria) Villarreal, Jr.; sisters, Maria Teresa Touchet and Graciela V. Cortez; daughter in law, Debbie Villarreal; grandchildren, Scott Davidson, Krystal Villarreal, Jose Villarreal and Jorge Villarreal; great grandchildren, Shyanne, Destiny, and Skyler Ramos, Scott Davidson, Jr., John Davidson and Joaquin Villarreal and numerous nephews and nieces.

The family is grateful for the care and compassion received from Dr. R. Factoriza and staff at Valley Regional Medical Center. Dr. Wilson and staff at South Texas Rehabilitation Hospital, Steve Piña and staff at Ebony Lake Nursing Center.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 24, 2013 from 1pm to 9pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, with a rosary service at 7pm.

Funeral service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at St. Mary Mother Of The Church at 1914 Barnard Road Brownsville, TX with a Committal Service at RoseLawn Memorial Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers will be, Joseph Touchet, Robert Maza, David Vallado, Richard Villarreal, Jose Villarreal and Jorge Villarreal
