Born and raised in Brownsville, Tina dedicated her life to education, faith, and family. She was an educator for 36 years, including 20 years of service at St. Luke’s Catholic School, where she became a beloved figure to generations of students. Known for her nurturing nature, caregiving spirit, and deep selflessness, Tina had an extraordinary gift for guiding and inspiring young minds, always treating her students as if they were her own.
A devout Catholic, Tina’s faith was a cornerstone of her life. She was deeply spiritual and active in her church community, drawing strength and comfort from her beliefs. Her love for her family was unwavering—she was incredibly family-oriented, cherishing every moment spent with those closest to her. Whether through kind words, thoughtful gestures, or simply being present, Tina consistently put others before herself and touched countless lives with her warmth and generosity.
Tina is survived by her father, Iris Harrington; her brother, Jay Harrington (wife Rhonda); her nephew, Shawn Harrington; her nieces, Annette Paniagua (husband Marco) and Valerie Byers (husband Daniel); her nephew, Tyler Harrington; and her cousin, Lupita Aguilar. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Lucy Harrington.

A visitation for Tina will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 McDavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM.
A chapel service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 10:00 AM, also at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista. Burial will follow at 11:00 AM at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 McDavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521.
