Ernestina Rodriguez

Ernestina enjoyed dancing, playing bingo and chalupa. Tina was also known for her great cooking. Tina was a very family oriented person. All her children can agree that she was an amazing mother.

Ernestina is survived by her daughter Ermelinda Posler; son Arnoldo Rodriguez; daughter Rebecca Espinoza; daughter Maria Magdalena Romero; daughter Maria Teresa Rodriguez; and son Rolando Rodriguez.

She is survived by her granddaughter Erica Ann Rodriguez, grandson Moises Jesus Rodriguez, grandson Abelardo Rodriguez, grandson Pedro Luis Martinez, grandson Joseph Joshua Posler, grandson Tony Orlando Rodriguez, grandson Benjamin Vasquez, granddaughter Dalia Jasmin Vasquez, granddaughter Nicole Aimee Barrera and granddaughter Briana Anahi Barrera;

She is survived by sister Maria Elena Rodriguez.

Ernestina was preceded in death by her mother Maria Antonia Rodriguez † and father Leonardo Vasquez †; sister Gerarda Martinez†; sister Beatriz Perez† and brother Jose Carlos Perez†.

She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.

A visitation for Ernestina will be held Sunday, April 23, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM in Chapel of Angels at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A chapel service will be held Monday, April 24, 2023 at 12:00 PM in Chapel of Angels at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista,125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. Followed by a burial at 1:00 PM at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.

Serving as pallbearers are Tony Rodriguez, Moses Rodriguez, Nicolas Barrera, Carlos Espinoza, Javier Guevara, Javier Rodriguez and Joe Posler.
