Evaristo Arrona, 87, of Leon Guanajuato, Mx, passed away on June 3, 2025. He was born on 10/26/1937 to Ignacio Arrona and Ciria Rocha in Leon, Guanajuato. Evaristo was an autodidact, which led him to become a small business owner, landscaper, architect, and great leader in one of the first convoys against drugs in Mexico.
Evaristo retired and drove a taxi for a few years. When he officially retired, he spent time with family, performed house improvements and landscaping, listened to his favorite music from Beto Quintanilla and Vicente Fernandez, and traveled worldwide.
Evaristo was predeceased by his parents, brothers, sister, and nephews/nieces. He is survived by Jose A. Arrona (Rosa), Olga L. Lerma (Miguel *RIP), Graciela Arrona (Javier), Diamantina Arrona (Darlene), Yasmin Casas (Roy), Miriam Sanchez (Pedro), Abdiel E. Arrona, Edgardo Arrona, Corrie G. Canul, two sisters, a brother, and many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
According to his last will, no services will be held per his request. We will have a celebration of life at a later date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association, an organization our family strongly values.
