She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Ann Hernandez, and her sons, Luis Edelmiro Hernandez and Joseph Vincent Hernandez. Her sister, Amparo Burnias ( Ramiro Burnias).

She was predeceased by her husband, Edelmiro Hernandez Jr., her father, Raul Oliveira, her mother, Rebecca Salazar Oliveira, and her brothers, Raul Oliveira Jr. (Amanda Garcia), Celso Oliveira (Irma (Toby) Gonzalez), Rodolfo S. Oliveira (Mary Alvear), and George Luis Oliveira (Martha Cosay Oliveira).

A visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, Chapel Of Peace, located at 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX, 78521, on December 4, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A rosary will also take place at the same venue on December 4, 2025, at 6:00 pm.

A mass will be held at St Luke Catholic Church, located at 2800 Rockwell Dr, Brownsville, Texas, 78521, on December 5, 2025, at 10:00 am.
