Hilda was a very quiet lady who loved to spend time with her family and helping to raise her nieces and grandniece's/nephews. She loved to garden and care for her many lifetime pets, which were mostly her adored cats. Her favorite pastimes included watching Golden Girls and doing word search puzzles. Her favorite meal was mole. Her favorite color was purple, lilac and pastels. She enjoyed being involved in holiday decorating and cooking for all her family.
Hilda is greatly loved by all her family and will be greatly missed.
Hilda is survived by her sister: Rebecca E. Barajas (Margarito), her nieces: Beatriz Hinojosa (Andy Lopez †), Martha Patricia Espinoza-Gonzalez (Steve), and Maria Concepcion Espinoza (Amado Rodriguez †), her grandnephews and grandnieces: Pedro Granado, Joshua Padrón, Margarita Rodriguez (Christopher Pesina), and Noemi Rodriguez, her great grandnephews and great grandnieces: Tomas Ricardo Vasquez, Jr, Dominik Heriberto Pesina, Ivory Faith Pesina, Saleen Marie Lopez, Aubree Beatriz Lopez, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins
Hilda was preceded in death by her parents: Pedro Espinoza † and Margarita Solis †, her brothers: Jose Pedro Espinoza †, Guadalupe Espinoza † and Matias Espinoza †, her niece: Monica Veronica Espinoza †, her maternal grandmother: Marcelina Guerrero †, her maternal grandfather: Jose Solís †, her paternal grandfather: Francisco Espinoza †, and her paternal grandmother: Elvira Carreño †.
Mrs. Espinoza also left behind numerous aunts, uncles and cousins to cherish her memory.
A visitation for Hilda will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7 pm in Chapel of Angles, at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A chapel service will occur Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 12:00 PM in Chapel of Angels, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A burial will occur Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.
