

Ignacio es sobrevivido por su devota esposa, Marifi Camacho, y sus estimados hijos: Dra. Linda Camacho, Baltazar Camacho, Adan Camacho, Noe, Shally, Daniel, Dora e Ignacio Camacho Coronado, junto con sus queridos hermanos: Juanita, Gorge, Raúl, Sylvia, Maruca y sus hijos políticos, nietos, sobrinos y demás familiares. Su familia era su orgullo y alegría, y deja un legado perdurable de amor y dedicación.
A lo largo de su ilustre carrera, Ignacio tuvo un impacto profundo en los ámbitos legal y político. Se desempeñó como abogado en Matamoros, Tamaulipas, ocupó cargos de juez en Laredo, Tamaulipas, y asumió múltiples roles políticos distinguidos, incluyendo Secretario del Gobierno Municipal. Su inquebrantable compromiso con la justicia y el servicio público fue evidente en todos sus esfuerzos, ganándose el respeto y la admiración de sus colegas y comunidad.
En su juventud, Ignacio se destacó en los deportes, convirtiéndose en una estrella celebrada del equipo de fútbol de Monterrey. Además, encontraba gran alegría en la pesca, el boliche y jugando dominó con amigos, creando recuerdos preciados compartidos con aquellos que amaba. En su retiro, Ignacio se deleitaba en la compañía de sus amigos y familiares, pasando sus días rodeado de amor infinito. Su sabiduría, amabilidad y dedicación inquebrantable a sus amigos, familia y profesión serán profundamente extrañados.
Se unirá a numerosos seres queridos, incluyendo a sus hermanos Santiago y Lupita, en paz celestial. La vida de Ignacio fue un testimonio de los valores del trabajo duro, el amor y el servicio. Deja un legado que será recordado y apreciado por todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo.
Un servicio religioso para honrar la distinguida vida y legado de Ignacio se llevará a cabo en la Iglesia Católica de San Lucas el 17 de agosto a las 10 a.m., seguido de un servicio conmemorativo en Funeraria del Ángel a las 11 a.m. en Capilla de Angeles. Lic. Ignacio Camacho Ray, born in Saginaw, Michigan, on May 30, 1935, departed this life peacefully on August 4, 2024, at the distinguished age of 89.
Ignacio is survived by his devoted wife, Marifi Camacho, and his esteemed children: Dr. Linda Camacho, Baltazar Camacho, Adan Camacho, Noe, Shally, Daniel, Dora, and Ignacio Camacho Coronado, along with his cherished siblings: Juanita, Gorge, Raul, Sylvia, Maruca, and his sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, and other family members. His family was his pride and joy, and he leaves behind an enduring legacy of love and dedication.
Throughout his illustrious career, Ignacio made a profound impact in the legal and political realms. He served as an attorney in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, held judgeships in Laredo, Tamaulipas, and undertook multiple esteemed political roles, including Secretary of the Municipal Government. His unwavering commitment to justice and public service was evident in all his endeavors, earning him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and community.
In his youth, Ignacio excelled in sports, becoming a celebrated star player on the Monterrey football team. Additionally, he found great joy in fishing, bowling, and playing dominos with friends, creating cherished memories shared with those he loved. In retirement, Ignacio delighted in the company of his friends and family, spending his days surrounded by boundless love. His wisdom, kindness, and steadfast dedication to his friends, family, and profession will be deeply missed.
He will join numerous loved ones, including his siblings Santiago and Lupita, in heavenly peace. Ignacio's life was a testament to the values of hard work, love, and service. He leaves behind a legacy that will be remembered and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A church service to honor Ignacio’s distinguished life and legacy will be held at St. Luke Catholic Church on August 17th at 10 a.m., followed by a memorial service at Funeraria del Angel at 11 a.m. in Chapel of Angels. Please join us in celebrating a life exceptionally well lived.
