Isaura M Trevino

She was born on September 14, 1940, and was a lifelong resident of Brownsville, Texas. Though our hearts grieve, we rejoice in knowing she has been released from the burden of illness and restored in the presence of her Savior.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ramon and Maria Luisa M. Trevino, her sisters Teresa and Epifania Trevino, and her brothers Roberto, Ramon Jr., Joaquin, Jesus, Jose (Cuate), and Arturo Trevino.

Chagua enjoyed cooking, music, and cherished spending time with her family. She liked birds, playing chalupa, and we could never give her enough lottery scratch-off tickets. Her favorite color was yellow, and she loved hosting holiday festivities and celebrating family events. She was the heart of all our family gatherings, and the memories she leaves us with will be everlasting for those who knew her.

• (Ron), Claudia L. Cupit (Donald), her sons Cesar Saldana (Lourdes), Manuel Sanchez (Wanda), Johnny Sanchez (Yvonne), Eduardo Sanchez (Lucinda), 17 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Maria Sauceda, Rosie Boehm, Rachel Bustinza, Yolanda Trevino, Irma Garcia, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Chagua will be remembered for her unwavering love, strength, generosity, selfless acts, and perseverance to stay present for those she loved. She will be immensely missed and forever in the hearts of those who loved her.

Visitation will be held on March 17, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m.. at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521

A funeral mass will be held March 18, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 555 W. St. francis St. Brownsville Tx. US.

A burial will be held at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521, on March 18, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Isaura (Chagua) M. Treviño partió a su hogar para estar con su Señor y Salvador el 12 de marzo de 2026, a la edad de 85 años.

Nació el 14 de septiembre de 1940 y fue residente de toda la vida de Brownsville, Texas. Aunque nuestros corazones están de luto, nos regocijamos al saber que ha sido liberada de la carga de la enfermedad y restaurada en la presencia de su Salvador.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Ramón y María Luisa M. Treviño; sus hermanas Teresa y Epifania Treviño; y sus hermanos Roberto, Ramón Jr., Joaquín, Jesús, José (Cuate) y Arturo Treviño.

A Chagua le gustaba cocinar, la música y apreciaba mucho pasar tiempo con su familia. Le gustaban los pájaros, jugar chalupa, y nunca podíamos darle suficientes boletos de lotería para raspar. Su color favorito era el amarillo, y le encantaba organizar celebraciones en los días festivos y festejar los eventos familiares. Era el corazón de todas nuestras reuniones familiares, y los recuerdos que nos deja serán eternos para quienes la conocieron.

Le sobreviven sus hijas, Norma E. Fisher (Ron) y Claudia L. Cupit (Donald); sus hijos César Saldaña (Lourdes), Manuel Sánchez (Wanda), Johnny Sánchez (Yvonne) y Eduardo Sánchez (Lucinda); 17 nietos y 27 bisnietos. También le sobreviven sus hermanas María Sauceda, Rosie Boehm, Rachel Bustinza, Yolanda Treviño e Irma García, así como numerosos sobrinos, sobrinas, primos, primas y amigos.

Chagua será recordada por su amor inquebrantable, su fortaleza, su generosidad, sus actos desinteresados y su perseverancia para estar siempre presente para quienes amaba. Será profundamente extrañada y vivirá por siempre en el corazón de quienes la conocieron.

La velación se llevará a cabo el 17 de marzo de 2026, de 3:00 p. m. a 10:00 p. m. con un servicio de oración a las 7:00p.m. en Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521.

La misa fúnebre se llevará a cabo el 18 de Marzo, 2026 a las 2:00 p.m. en St. Joseph Catholic Church, 555 W. St. francis St. Brownsville Tx. US.

El entiero se llevará a cabo en Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521, el 18 de marzo de 2026, de 3:00 p. m. a 4:00 p. m.
