With heavy hearts and deep affection, we announce the passing of Israel Aldrete Pena on November 29, 2025, at the age of 89. He was born on November 29, 1936. He was a man whose warmth, humor, and joyful spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. He left this world as he lived in it—surrounded by love, laughter, and family.
Israel Aldrete Pena was a man of simple pleasures and big heart. He enjoyed life’s quiet moments, whether casting a line on a peaceful fishing trip or watching a baseball game with the people he loved most. Those who knew him will always remember him with a piece of sweet bread in his hand, ready to sit, talk, and share a joke. His playful nature and quick wit could brighten any room, and he made it his mission to bring a smile to someone’s face every single day.
Family was at the center of everything he did. To be near them—laughing, storytelling, and simply being together—was his greatest joy. He had a gift for making others feel welcome, valued, and loved.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in the many memories he left behind: the sound of his laughter, the way he teased and joked, the warmth of his presence, and the kindness he shared so freely.
Israel Aldrete Pena will be deeply missed but forever remembered. His legacy lives on in the smiles he inspired, the love he gave, and the joy he brought into our lives.
May he rest in peace.
He is survived by his daughters, Isabel, Tere, and Sara, and his grandsons, Gerardo, Franco, and Emiliano.
His is reunited with his wife, Maria Teresa V. de Andrete.
