Our beloved father and grandfather was many things to us but most of all, he was loving, hilarious jokester, honest, a hard worker and completely dedicated to his family. In his more active days, he loved to fish and host large BBQs (food was his life) for the entire family especially, New Years Eve. Later in life, he enjoyed watching his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys and, also enjoyed watching boxing. He was a self-taught guitar player who also had a beautiful voice. Listening to him sing and play guitar is a happy memory we all share. One of his favorite singers that he truly enjoyed listening to was George Strait. Our family was so very proud of his Military service. He was a decorated World War II veteran earning several medals and was a member of the civilian conservation corps. He will forever be in our hearts and missed beyond measure. The impact of his loss is immeasurable but our family takes solace in knowing that he is reunited with his beautiful bride so they may continue their never-ending love story. Godspeed.
