Juan Jose Gomez Jr.

JR was a good man with a big heart. He loved to cook, fish, barbeque, and have a good time, always a funny guy making everyone laugh. He absolutely loved to be surrounded by his family and friends who meant the world to him.

Juan was preceded in death by his grandparents Marina C. Gomez and Gilberto Gomez Sr. (paternal), Joaquin De la Rosa and Hortencia Martinez de la Rosa (maternal), stepfather Jesus Gamez, uncles Ovideo Gomez, Ricardo de la Rosa and Joe Perez, pet kiddo Callie.

Juan is survived by his life partner Corinne Frady, father Juan Jose Gomez Sr., mother Hortencia "Kookie" Gamez, brother Joaquin "Jack" Gomez, sister Alexis Gomez, stepbrothers Marco and Aldo Gamez, stepsisters Ana, Sandra, and Melissa (Dean), pet kiddos Haddie Mae and Teko, and so many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

A visitation for Juan will be held Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM with a memorial service at 2:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Rose Lawn located at 4464 Old Port Isabel Road, Brownsville, TX., 78526.
