Mrs. Peña was a strong, loving, caring, friendly and noble mother who taught her children a strong work ethic as well as strength to pull through whatever situations life gave. She will be loved dearly by many and never forgotten. We will always miss you.
Left behind to treasure the memories of Mrs. Peña are her sons Marcos, Jorge, Julio. Isidro, Jesus and Arturo; her daughter Iris Peña; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 31, 2013 from 12 p.m. until 9 p.m. continuing on Sunday, September 1, 2013 from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. with the Holy rosary recitation at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
A Mass of Resurrection will be held Monday, September 2, 2013 at 10am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 1200 E. Lincoln with burial to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
