Mr. Marco Antonio Villarreal, of Brownsville, Texas, passed away at the age of 66, before his time, at Seton Medical Center of Harker Heights on February 8th. He was not alone.

Marco was a loving soul with a great sense of humor. He was loved by all who were blessed to be part of his life. An Army Veteran during the Vietnam Era, an accomplished Industrial Engineer who graduated from Texas Southmost College, and a loving family man who worked hard to provide for his family. Anyone who knew Marco, knows that you could always find him firing up the grill with family and friends and enjoying the little things in life.

Marco is survived by his wife Veronica Villarreal, children Melissa Mitchell (Curtis B. Mitchell), Jaquelina Villarreal (Karina Villarreal), Marco Antonio Villarreal, Jr (Miriam Villarreal), Damien Mark Villarreal, Veronica Abigail Blas (Jose Blas), & Alvaro Garza, siblings Felipe De Jesus Villarreal, Jr (Delia Villarreal). Marco is blessed with ten grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Marco is preceded in death by his parents, Felipe De Jesus Villarreal & Maria De La Luz Villarreal, sibling Amalia Beltran (Eladio Beltran), & his beloved Babalu.

Services will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at the Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista located at 125 McDavitt Blvd. in Brownsville. You are welcome to come and pay your respects from 1pm to 6pm.
