Maria Antonia Martinez

Toni belonged to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. She was defined by her love of God, the Virgen of Guadalupe, her faith and her church. During her lifetime, she served the Lord as religious instructor, Eucharistic minister, lector, and other duties required of her.

Toni worked for 38 years with B.I.S.D. in the capacity of teacher, supervisor and counselor. Special thanks to Dr. Karkoutly and the staff in the SNF unit.

She is preceded in death by her parents Miguel A. Martinez and Guadalupe C. Martinez; sisters, Ramona Saenz, Delfina Garcia, Clara Torres and Maria Revuelta.

Toni leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who love her dearly.

Visitation will be held from 12 pm to 9pm with a rosary at 7pm on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.

Mass of Resurrection will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1200 E. Lincoln St. Brownsville, TX on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 10 am with committal service to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Juan Diego Garcia, Rodolfo Revuelta, Javier Revuelta, Luis Saenz, Julio Ibarra, and Ruben Garcia.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Elsa M. Garcia, Luis Garcia, Manuel Garcia, Olga Saenz and Yolanda Saenz.
