Mrs. Castro is preceded in death by her loving husband, Rafael L. Castro; son, Rafael Castro, Jr. and daughter, Carolina Rios.

Mrs. Castro is survived by her children, Domingo Rosas (Maria) of Florida, Roman Castro (Estela) of Brownsville, Juan Castro of Michigan, Francisca Zapata, Olivia Ramirez, Juana Castro, Margarita Garza (Jay) all of Brownsville, Petra Esparza (Alejandro) of Baytown, and many many grand and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 11 am to 9 pm on Friday, March 9, 2012 with a rosary at 7 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.

Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11 am on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with internment to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers will be Martin Zapata, Jr., Roman Castro, Jr., Rafael Castro III, Reymundo Rios, Roberto Castro, Juan Jose Garza, Jr.
