Maria Guadalupe “Lupe” Sanchez, 70, entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 6, 2025 in Brownsville, Texas. She was a beloved sister, aunt, and friend. Our Lord has taken her home with him. She will be dearly missed by all who love her.

Maria Guadalupe was preceded in death by her mother, Concepcion Sanchez; father, Jorge Tamayo; and sisters, Maria Magdalena Camarillo, Maria Margarita De La O, Maria Ernestina Lechuga, Maria Cristina Tamayo, and Maria Del Carmen Sanchez; brothers, Jorge Tamayo and Jose Ignacio Tamayo.

She is survived by her nieces, nephews, and cousins to cherish her memory.

A private service will be organized by her nieces and nephews at a future date.
