Maria Antonia Perez

Maria A. Perez, 65, was summoned home by the Lord on Monday, Wednesday March 11, 2026, at her home in Brownsville, Texas. She was surrounded by her family when she departed Earth to fly with the Angels.

Maria A. Perez was born on June 13, 1960, and resided in Brownsville, Texas.

She was a devoted wife, mother, sister & aunt. Her children Aldo, Albert, Eliana, were her pride and joy, and her favorite pastime was crafting.

She is survived by her beloved husband Eliberto Perez of Brownsville, TX; sons and daughter, Aldo Perez of Brownsville, TX; Luis Alberto Perez of Brownsville, TX; & Eliana Perez of Brownsville, TX. brothers & sisters, Cresencio (Edelmira) Rodriguez of San Benito, TX; Raul (Letty) Rodriguez of Midland, TX; Rosario (Gregorio) Figueroa of Brownsville, TX; Letty (Jim) Roberts of Brownsville, TX; Norma C. Rodriguez of San Benito, TX; Dee (Rudy) Cisneros of Bishop, TX; Marisela (Victor) Gonzalez of San Benito, TX; Teresa Sandoval (Javier) of San Benito, TX; sister in laws Graciela (Ricardo) Villarreal, Cristina (Hugo) Silva, Maria (Jose) Garcia, Norma (Pedro) Cerda, brother in law Guadalupe Perez and numerous nieces & nephews.

Maria A. Perez was preceded in death by her loving parents, father Pedro Rodriguez, mother Dominga M. Rodriguez; Grandfather Mauricio Mares and Grandmother Alejandra Diaz-Mares.

Serving as Pallbearers will be her son’s Aldo Perez, Luis A. Perez, nephews Jose Luis Garcia, Eduardo Rodriguez, Adrian Bazan II, & Victor Gonzalez III, Honorary pallbearer, husband Eliberto Perez, brothers Cresencio Rodriguez & Raul Rodriguez.

Viewing will be held at Buena Vista Funeral Home in Brownsville, TX on Monday March 16, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. following with a rosary 7:00 p.m.

A mass honoring her life will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Our Lady of Good Counsel on Military Highway in Brownsville, Texas and burial precedent at 1:00 p.m. at Buena Vista Burial Park, in Brownsville, TX.
