She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel Castro and Estefana Fernandez.
Maria De Jesus is survived by her husband, Jose Resendez; children, Jeanie Resendez, Jose A. Resendez, Jose M. (Liliana Chairez) Resendez, Jesse Resendez, and Jeanie G. Resendez; granddaughter, Emily S. Resendez; and her grandson, Josue M. Resendez.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 10, 2015 from 10:00a.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Rosary to be conducted at 7:00p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
Mass will be held Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 2:00p.m. at St. Luke’s Catholic Church (2800 Rockwell), followed by committal service at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
